Endurance sentence

The DMV Question

Severity
Category
Cost
Free
Time required
a few hours

The loser waits through the full DMV line, no appointment, no phone, and upon finally reaching the counter asks one league-scripted, maximally inane question ('what should my tire pressure be?'), thanks the clerk, and leaves. Hours of investment for zero transaction. The receipt of wasted time is the trophy.

Budget note: this one costs nothing but dignity, which makes it a strong pick for leagues that would rather spend the pot on the champion than on the loser's downfall.
