Marathon sits, eating clocks, and tests of will

Endurance punishments

Endurance punishments are the prestige tier, and the reason this genre went mainstream. The Waffle House 24-Hour Challenge made national news, and every punishment in this category descends from the same idea: time is the sentence, and the loser can sometimes eat, walk, or perform their way out of it.

These demand planning: a venue, a livestream, league members checking in on shifts. Done right, an endurance punishment is the best day of your league's year, for eleven of its twelve members.

Ranked from most severe to mildest. Entries marked "not family-safe" are flagged so work leagues can steer clear.
